I must have missed this, but saw the references on the board. How is this remotely justifiable? How can you demand accountability and results from your coaches and your players when deciding that the GM to take the team to the Super Bowl just happens to be your brother son (which is arguably worse)? What a happy coincidence. Of all the people working hard in football to make a name for themselves, working long hours, pushing the art/science of player evaluation, the best GM candidate happens to be your brother son?
This move, coupled with the move to LA/extort the city for a stadium dance they are doing, is seriously making me consider give up 30+ years of devotion to this team.
Not a big fan of AJ, but some of his drafts were so amazing I can not walk away from that talent (albeit inconsistent) unless you know you can snag a proven genius at the GM game. He has made some poor decisions, but he has made some good ones too. Turner has to go, but do not let any Spanos Spawn near the GM role.
