Jets Game

I of course watched the Jets game last week when we lost 27 - 21. During the 3rd or 4th quarter the Jets returned a kickoff and Mike Tolbert made the tackle. You need to look at this. Something looked strange during the play so I backed up the footage and watched it again, thanks to the technology of cable TV. When Tolbert grabbed the right side of the returner's uniform below the waist, what he grabbed was stripped away. It came off the guy's uniform. Two vertical green stripes which looked like camouflaged velcro came off the uniform. Tolbert still made the tackle, but is this legal? It would of course make it harder to tackle guys. I looked at it numerous times on a high def TV and could swear that's what happened.  Have now heard Tolbert may not play this week against the Chiefs due to a hand injury and leg. Could he have gotten injured on this play, by not getting a full grip? It happened so fast, he may not have known what happened and anyone on the field would just figure a piece of uniform got torn off. If you know anyone who saved the game, have them take a look and tell me I'm not crazy. Maybe there's more reasons why the Bolts lost rather than a Charger meltdown or bad officiating. If this happened, it may have been this one guy on the Jets doing it rather than the whole team, but if it did happen, someone needs to look into this. Did any other viewer notice this or say anything?
