An Humble Request

I know that I may have rubbed more than a few of you here the wrong way but this is a serious request and not for me.

My dear friend and long-time band mate Paul is in the fight of his life against cancer.

Please send your strength and good thoughts his way. He needs all the help that he can get from any and all quarters.

Seriously though, cancer is a bad deal. Its effected and taken so many of my friends and family too. I hope that things work out for Paul in the difficult days and months ahead.

In these situations, you almost have to become a “mini-oncologist” to understand your condition and select treatment options. That can be difficult for some people, and even more difficult for the patient. Does Paul have a close friend that can effectively advocate for him?
