Want to represent BFTB in Madden?

Gamers,

SBNation is doing a week-by-week Madden tournament for both Xbox360 and PS3 users. I will be representing the site on 360 (you'll hear plenty more about this as the season goes along), but we need somebody with the game, PS3 and experience playing online to take the reigns of the Bolts in that league.

Please post your application/resume in the comments below to be chosen. Keep in mind that if you're chosen and bail on the league at any point, you will be banned from BFTB. That's what you get for making the community look like a bunch of quitters. Please take this seriously.

Wish I had time to take Madden seriously

I still remember the first Madden for Sega 91 or 92 whatever it was, Thurmon Tomas was the truth. It was toss left and sweep right all day and night.

I have a ps3 and the game

But i’ve only played online once (the other guy quit while i was up 2 TDs so I got annoyed and stopped playing online). I am also unsure if I could be available for the full season.

This is a terrible resume and should be shuffled to the bottom of the stack.
Unfortunately, sometimes the bottom is the top as well…

If no one else comes forward I could do it,
but I couldn’t live with a lifetime BFTB ban.

For the benefit of full disclosure

I played a couple of games tonight and did not do well.
1-1 but got pounded by a lvl 1 playing with Saints.

Bah.

That’s because San Diego is grossly underated, I play with my edited stats that are a better representation. Mind you, I have yet to lose a game, and the closest margin has been a touchdown. Online is a no go zone for me, not sure why I’m posting this to be honest.

I have a PS3. I’m thinking about plugging it back in. I’m also considering buying Madden. Do we have to be represented by the same person every week? Perhaps riversformvp and I should play to find out who is the less awful representative (I’m pretty bad).

I can commit to the majority weeks

But I am nearly certain that a couple would be tough to navigate, especially if all games are played on Sunday or at a specific time. I’m a student and come exam time it gets really dicey for when I am available (mid to late december).
Although, if we could share a profile and you could play in my stead when I am unavailable that would work. I don’t mind sharing my profile since I have only played maybe two games online and have no status to maintain on there.
Maybe we could work something like that out. I would be good for at least 12-14 games but I figure I may have to miss a couple of weeks.

I've played somewhat on line...

are you any good john? cuz if you suck you should just hand it over to a teenager with no GF or job or any sense of personal hygiene,cuz the guys on line play that shit ALLLLLL DDDDDAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!
