You may be sick and tired of Brett Favre by now. If you are, I have three words for you. Turn off ESPN. That channel will rot your brain with it's garbage.
Now, there's plenty of reasons to celebrate this retirement. First, the guy is going to make a heck of an analyst one day (trust me). Second, the guy was one of the best QBs of all time (somewhere between Marino and Peyton Manning). Third, besides the game with the Jets (when he wasn't very good) when Antonio Cromartie just made him look silly....Brett Favre was really really good against the San Diego Chargers.
His career record against the Bolts is 5-1 (with that one loss being with the Jets), and having him out of the league ups the Chargers chances of winning a Super Bowl should they get there. Yes, I just said that. Deal with it.
