Fair or not, Jackson's image is changing - Bill Williamson
Until recently, Jackson was considered a throwback wide receiver. In an era of diva receivers, Jackson was different. He was quiet. He stayed out of headlines.
Ranking the returners in the AFC West - Bill Williamson
1. Darren Sproles, San Diego: One of my favorite things to do on an NFL Sunday is to watch Sproles return a kick or a punt. The blogging stops and all attention is paid to this dynamic little man. He can score every time he touches the ball.
Sources: Jackson not on trade block - ESPN
The San Diego Chargers are not actively shopping receiver Vincent Jackson and are not interested in dealing him, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Vincent Jackson standoff is lose-lose - John Clayton
Teams such as the Seahawks, Redskins and others will monitor Jackson's status, but a trade is unlikely. Rivers needs Jackson and Jackson needs to find a way of not surrendering this season or playing it for pennies on the dollar. Too bad this doesn't qualify for arbitration.

Does anyone else think DS isn't that great of a return man?
I know he can break almost any return, but I can’t even count how many punts that I just wish he would fair catch. Or how many times he bobbled the catch. It’s frustrating.

Great kick returner, and a great punt returner after the ball gets into his hands….but yes, this was a common theme on the Open Threads last season. Somebody needs to teach Speedy Gonzalez how to fair catch.

at least he looks like to only guy that wants to make a play. it’s a shame when this team looks for excitement, we often look to 43.
The peanut gallery has spoken!!!
That strikes me as an odd comment about a team that was mostly successful because of their explosive passing attack.
