Philip Rivers showed up to Chargers training camp sporting a new, aerodynamic 'do. He didn't say as much, but we can assume this was done in memory of the loss of Charlie Whitehurst's chestnut-colored mane.

Does this mean he'll be able to run faster now?

17 college rushing TDs (including TEN in his junior season) say yes.

Not a chance.

I dont care how aerodynamic his head is now,
He will still make me laugh when he tries to scramble.

Several thoughts
1. KSK is going to have a field day with this.
2. Do we know why he did it? For a kid with cancer or something?

Here's why he did it
He was just messing around with his kids.
“I guess I forgot to put the guard on the trimmer this time,” Rivers said. “We cut it at the house, and my girls sure got a kick out of it. I’m sure it’ll grow back. At least I hope it will.”

I don’t think Philip has ever had a quote in the paper that didn’t make me smile.
