Wow I was just reading that article on the Chargers' site
Next off-season is going to be even crazier than this…
Expiring contracts include key players such as all of our MLB (Burnett, Siler, Cooper), Cesaire & Bingham, Mruczcowski and Dombrowski, Nanee, Gates, Weddle and Oliver, and all the guys who were just tendered.
We’ve already heard they’re close to extending Gates. Dombrowski will get extended if he wins the starting RT job. Siler will get extended because he’s young/talented. Weddle will probably get something done before the season starts. Naanee will take Floyd’s spot/money.

Charlie Whiteheart is back!

Seriously!
I wonder how many we will keep after this season.
Merriman, Clary and Floyd will probably be gone.

acee said on the radio yesterday
that he thought Dobbins might sign an offer sheet with someone else this year. Acee thinks he could be a starter somewhere else and the 5th round tender is not discouraging. We’ll see.

I agree
Wouldn’t surprise me to see him picked up by a struggling team like Detroit.

Interesting.
Such a low tender for Dobbins. Its practically asking someone to sign him away. Maybe AJ figures that since there are so many good looking LBs in this draft it would be better just to draft another young backup/special teams player with that extra pick.
That or that he is happy with Coop, Siler, Burnett and Thomas
But really I think its because the Chargers are getting ready to sign Morrison! :)
Thomas is gone. Beckwith might take his spot though.

I heard beckwith was legit coming out of the draft last year. And the coaches are high on him. A bit undersized, or was injured which caused him to go undrafted. John, I’m sure you’ve got the answer.

Had a terrible combine, and definitely undersized. Coaches went gaga for his special teams play though. There’s no way he’s not on the 53 man roster.

The Bears are going nuts!
C. Taylor, Peppers and Manumaleuna already…
They don't have
A firs or second round pick. They gotta do something.
