All those new stadium proposals
and city council meetings must have warn him out.
I attended a panel he was a speaker on (something about business, I think) a couple years ago, and he really came off as an intelligent guy. Best of luck to him.
You're thinking of Mark Fabiani
He’s the stadiums guy. He’s still on the Chargers staff.
No, I don't think you're an idiot. Please don't go trying to prove me wrong.

Yeah, you're right.
I think I just saw Steeg and penciled him in as the Charger’s spokesman for everything, even if he wasn’t.
Well, if I had to read into this...
…I would say that this does not bode well for the stadium issue.
Steeg was brought in because of his strong ties to the NFL office, in the hopes that the Chargers and San Diego would host more SBs. No new stadium = no more SBs. Steeg probably realized that it was too long and too hard a battle.
Best of luck to him. Now if HE signs with the Jets, I’m gonna be pissed.

I'll miss his weekly interviews with Josh and Jeff on 1360.
Since he knew all the Chargers business and was around the locker room and front office and he used to work for the NFL and knew that business as well, he made for an interesting interview.
He also gave good info on how the blackouts were coming, what sort of side events would be going on at the stadium and on more than one occasion he listened to what callers were saying and actually got that stuff fixed at the stadium.
I’m not sure that you can say anything about the stadium on this one. He was more in charge of the day to day operations of managing a sports team from the business side.

I hate when
I read “resign” and think “re-sign.” Even though he had a job and not a contract.
It’s like when I’m on ESPN.com or ProFootballTalk and they mention “charges” being filed against someone. I always read it as chargers. Bums me out.
