Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Hello there, I'm a 49er fan (based in So.Cal) that's planning on attending the SF @ SD game later this year.
I have some general questions regarding tickets and whatnot.

I'm going to include my info in the comments section.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok.

I’ve been to many football games before but this is the first time that I’ll be handling the tickets, parking, etc.
(This will also be the first time I’ve gone to Qualcom).
So far our group consists of only 3 people, but it’s very likely to grow to like 5-10. Most of us live in the San Bernardino and East LA areas.

I’d like to know how much I should expect to pay for tickets, where I should look to buy them (official site, phone, 3rd party, etc.), parking info, and tailgating info/rules.
I’ve looked around the Charger’s official site and I’d like some PLAZA or FIELD level seats.

I’m guessing that season ticket holders take the FIELD level seats right?

NOTE: I decided to come here because I’m a regular poster over at ninersnation and I respect/believe sbnation.com communities more than yahoo answers.

I know that tickets won’t go on sale until the 2010 season schedule is officially released in a few months.

What we've got here is a failure to communicate.

Seats

Field seats are nice, but unless you’re ok with standing the whole game I’d recommend going with plaza.

I have season tickets, so I don’t know exactly what’s a good price for single game tickets, but I think depending on where you sit, you’d do be doing pretty well if you got em’ for $50-75 a piece.

Plaza it is.

We’re looking to spend a maximum of $150 per ticket (we’re shooting for $100 each).

Any info on parking?
Our group has already grown a bit and we’re expecting to take a few cars now.

Thanks.

parking

Just get there early. Seriously, the parking lot usually closes 2 hours before the game so make sure you get there early.

So like at 10-ish?

Are you planning on tailgating?

If not, I’d suggest parking at a trolley station and riding to the stadium. Parking is free and a round-trip trolley ticket only costs a few bucks a person. That’s what I do when I go to games.

Well that's interesting.

We were planning on tailgating, though.
