I 2nd that!

Please man take the pic down its hard enough to deal with the disappointment of how he was treated to have to see this great man cry over a team that apparently didnt care that much about him hurts. So lets give him a lil more respect and dignity on here and post up a different pic.

How he was treated? Care that much about him?

He’s a pro football player. They get paid to perform and when they don’t perform to their value they are traded or let go. LT is arguably the best player we’ve ever had but this is how every player is treated. You want him to propel himself into a San Diego legend? He could right now, if he retired a Charger. He has that choice. He’s crying because he is an emotional player who wears his heart on his sleeve. That’s fine. I think that’s great in a player. But I wish people would stop acting like the Chargers are a mean dad spanking an innocent 3 year old.

Oh internet, what a wicked web you weave.

Agreed!

Put up the smile, not the tears.

He and Spanos said that he'd come back to retire as a Charger

I just want to get paid to draw naked girls, is that so much to ask?

This hurts… I wish he could have retired here.
It’s a very sad day… Good luck LT

I'm gonna miss him

I guess now we’ll get to know how Packers fans felt when they saw Brett Farve as a Jet for the first time.

Barring a rediculous comeback....

It wont be quite the same. I don’t see LT having an MVP year in 2011.

Besides, I don’t care what (possibly) stupid things LT ends up doing. This might actually show one of the good sides of being a San Diego fan. Green Bay fans live and die with their team. It’s all they’ve got. Plenty is said about San Diego having fair weather fans, but I think, in this case, it actually benefits us. We are happy to see LT move on, and wish him success.

he might

I dont know we could actually see that. It would make sense for either team they both have rookie RB with no real backup to share carries with so a veteren like LT who 1) has something to prove and could do so against his old team twice a year and 2) will teach and mentor your young back not only how to be great on the field but also off the field he would be a perfect fit.

LT doesn’t have that Douche-mode thing Brett Favre has though. Favre’s entire return this year was so he could give GB the bird twice.

by Orz on Feb 25, 2010 7:57 AM PST up reply actions

True Farve just wanted to get back at GB no matter what he says!

Yeah your probably right because neither of those teams are even close to being SB contenders. but im not buying the Vikes thing people are pushing because the beef between AP and LT last year even though I think that was more egged on by Jim Brown.

Great press conferance tho

Emotional and honest, 2 of the many things why LT was so sick. But if they let Seau and Harrison go, then anyone can go.

Except Dave Binn.
