It is rare that McNeill puts in a poor shift as a pass protector but it is just as rare that he puts in a strong shift as a run blocker; this has been the case going back over the last two seasons. His pass protection is consistently average registering only 2 games with perfect pass protection

Rams Interested In Trading #1 Overall Pick?
You might want to take out the salt shaker before you ponder this one, but Scout.com is reporting that the Rams are considering a deal that would send the first overall pick to Tampa Bay for the third overall pick, a third-round pick, and quarterback Josh Johnson.

RAM-TB Deal
Makes total sense for both teams. The Rams have spent their last two first-round picks on defensive linemen. Adding another one before allowing the two young guys to mature a bit would be silly, especially when St. Louis’ main problem is at QB. Moving to 3rd would still give them first-choice between Bradford and Clausen, since TB (Freeman) and Det (Stafford) have their QBs of the future already.
TB is a team on the rise, but it’s biggest problem last year was an aging and ineffective defensive line. This trade gives them an immediate boost in that area, and immediate credibility around the league. Also, they no longer have any use for Josh Johnson.
TB gets the DT it needs, StL gets the QB it wants….plus a 3rd round pick and somebody to replace Boller (who will probably be cut along with Bulger).

My guess is that Rams pick Berry at that point
sign Vick and draft comeone like McCoy in the second round.
You mean
Trade for Vick. He’s still under contract with the Eagles and Philly has said they are not cutting him. Of course, they’ve also said that they won’t be trading any of their QBs either.
I'm the first person to admit that I'm wrong about a lot of things, but I'm going to be the last person to admit I'm wrong about what we're currently talking about.
