KSU to retire Antonio Gates' No. 44 - Recordpub.com
Kent State will do more than just enshrine Antonio Gates into its Varsity "K" Hall of Fame during halftime of the Golden Flashes’ Feb. 27 men’s basketball home finale with Miami University. Following the Hall of Fame ceremony, Gates’ No. 44 jersey will be retired and raised to the M.A.C. Center rafters.

Chargers Unlikely To Pass Up Tennessee's Dan Williams
After re-watching some game video of Tennessee's Dan Williams, I've become more and more convinced that this prospect is likely to be sitting high on the Chargers' draft board. While we have no inside information on the matter, BOLTHYPE has traditionally fared well in identifying the team's draft needs. If Dan Williams is available at the time the Chargers draft, the talented nose tackle would be hard to pass up.

Special teams rankings: Browns find bright spot after tough year | Sports News | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News

Matthews: Buffalo Bills should offer Marshawn Lynch to San Diego Chargers | democratandchronicle.com | Democrat and Chronicle

Kind of agree

If it was just about a down 2009 and a one-time-thing sort of suspension, it would seem like a decent gamble. But, it does seem like there is more going on there in the off-the-field category.

I'm the first person to admit that I'm wrong about a lot of things, but I'm going to be the last person to admit I'm wrong about what we're currently talking about.

He does come with baggage

but he is still so young and has talent, I would be tempted by a third round pick offer.
