Former Chargers quarterback Ryan Leaf so far has failed to work out a plea deal to resolve drug and burglary charges against him in Texas and might face a trial soon as a result.
Giants Cut Antonio Pierce
Let the cuts begin. The Giants today cut veteran middle linebacker Antonio Pierce. On one hand, he is the leader of that defense and was good just one year ago. He makes a lot more sense at a much lower price, and I have a feeling he'll be a solid addition to some team but for less money than the Giants would have to pay him.

Technical comment/question
I really appreciate your diligence, Richard, but I wanted to point out that when I click on one of the link, it changes the page to that link. Me no likey. I want to keep BFTB up at all times AND see one of the links you provide.
My simple solution is to hold down the Control key when I click on the link. Pretty technically savvy, huh? That’s how I roll! But seriously, is that the only way to get these links to open in a separate page?

By George, you've got it! (Except for the Antonio Pierce article, which still changes the page.)
But the other three open on new pages.

I think SBNation should make you check the box for links you don’t want to open in new pages. Who wants to send readers away from them?
Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔
