Charlie Weis leaving KC for the gators?

Early reports out of Gainesville is that Charlie Weis will leaves his Coordinator job in Kansas City, to take a similar position for the Florida Gators, tension with Head Coach Todd Haley has not been mentioned as a cause, it seems like a big blow considering the massive improvement in Matt Cassell. Florida will install a pro style offense in place of its now traditional spread offense.

Love this news

Right as the KC offense gets going the coordinator decides to leave and head back to college…as a coordinator and not a head coach. Ha!

I don't think I would ever trust Weis

I’m baffled as to why he would announce he’s leaving for what is in essence a lower tier position (assuming one believes the Florida OC job is lower level than the Chiefs’ OC job) while his playoff-bound team is still playing. Ron Rivera, as one example of a stand up guy, wouldn’t even talk to another team about a head coaching position while the Chargers were still alive. And it probably cost him a HC gig at least once. I don’t know him from Adam, but it appears Weis has issues.

Are Marlon McCree and Antonio Cromartie the same person? Just askin'.

I don't understand the decision on Weis' side

He alienates a lot of the NFL, I understand the Florida is basically a pro job, but he doesn’t seem to be a college Head Coach in term of his personality, is his goal to be a college OC for the rest of his career. Weird decision, I really don’t understand it.
