Rivers for MVP!

  Listen, I am and have always been a Colts Fan.  I will argue Peyton Mannings greatness with anyone. However, I am first and foremost a "football fan".  With that being said,  Phillip Rivers is playing at an unbelievable level this year. He has always been fun to watch but he is just plain "lights out" this season.  Gates, no Gates, is doesn't seem to matter.  It is a joy to watch as a football fan but pretty scary as a Colts fan. Especially considering how my team has been racked with injuries. Taking on Rivers would be a challenge even at full strength.  If Rivers continues at this pace he will definately get my vote for MVP.  Now I know many of my fellow Colts fans would consider me a traitor but nothing could be farther from the truth. I love the Colts and consider Peyton to be one of the all-time greats already.  But I have always watched football with open eyes and appreciate excellence in the game. Phillip Rivers IS EXCELLENT.  Manning, Brady, Rivers, Breese. Come on, these are the fantastic four in my opinion. Each has their own particular strong points. For me, Rivers has without a doubt the strongest, most accurate long ball in the game. Other than the times we play you, I love watching him.

 Anyhow, just thought you might like to hear from a Colts fan who can really appreciate the greatness Rivers is showing as a QB.  Right now, the clear front runner for MVP.
