Per every freaking source on the planet, WR Vincent Jackson did what everyone expected him to do 3 months ago and signed his one-year, $583,000 restricted free-agent tender. He is a San Diego Charger once again and will be for the remainder of the 2010 NFL season.
He will begin practicing with the team on Wednesday and will have four full weeks of practice before the team has to add him to the roster and release somebody else to make room. He will miss the Chargers next three games (Tenn, @Hou, Den) before returning on 11/28 in Indianapolis against Peyton Manning and the Colts.
The 6'5", 230lb WR had a career-year last season when he collected 68 catches for 1,167 yards and 9 TDs. The Chargers have managed to go just 2-5 without him, and could be out of the playoff race by time he gets back on the field.
