Ok CBD I'm ready to negociate...
No more trash talk from me, if you suit up and show up this week.
Believe it or not CBD IS our veteran receiver this week. Time to play through pain Buster and show us all that you can be the man.
He already said he’s playing.

And he's nursing the same injury he had last week
And he suited up vs. the Rams, didn’t he?
No, I don't think you're an idiot. Please don't go trying to prove me wrong about that.

Right...
He’s said that before. Its a process.. First we get him in uniform. Next we get him on the feild. Adn then we get him to actually run the route right and catch the ball.
You can do it CBD! I believe!

Nice little bit from Bill Barnwell on twitter.
Not a single one (0/24) of Norv Turner’s starters in San Diego have ever suited up when listed as Doubtful.
So don’t expect any Naanee or Floyd.

Not true
Both Rivers and Gates were doubtful for the AFC Chmapionship game against NE and both played. Of course this game, while important, may not be THAT important.
I'm not sure both weren't questionable
For that game.

They were both doubtful

Gates was also listed as doubtful for the Colts playoff game the week before and played in that one too.

I’m just pursuing this because Barnwell, who’s supposed to be all about stats, tweeted something so definitive, which was then retweeted by lots of other sportswriters, and it’s not true.
Can you say Seyi Ajirotutu?
Okay, rookie. It’s your chance to shine!

Have we added him yet?
Did I miss that? Who’d we release?
No, I don't think you're an idiot. Please don't go trying to prove me wrong about that.

The odds
ok, so Doubtful is 25% chance? Questionable is 50% chance? Probable is 75%?
Alright then, I’ll grab the old nerdy dice and settle this:
<rolling, rolling>
OUT: Floyd, Naanee, Mathews
IN: Gates, Wilson, Davis, Siler.
Rough…. but the dice don’t lie…
Why Mathews?
I thought he was looking reasonably likely to go. IMHO that would be a huge loss. Given that we’re playing the Pat we need to cover some ground. Without the threat of a strong ground game it’s gonna be tough to open up our 3rd string receivers.
haha sorry
I think you misunderstand…… I literally rolled dice to determine who was out.
of course it makes sense that mathews would probably be in, if at all possible…. but the dice say otherwise…

I know it is taboo to mention...
but it sure would be nice to have a tall WR with good hands right about now.

he’s not known for his hands, either.
Defensive coach tells me: "Give the pass rush 5 seconds of good coverage on those receivers, they'll get it done!" Then he tells the front 7: "You've got 3 seconds to get pressure, the secondary can't cover all day!". Mutually dependent motivation. It works.

If Gates plays
even CBD and Crayton will look good. If Gates doesnt play we might as well complete the scrub skill set and put Volek in at QB
IMO
Siler will be huge getting back
He does it all. He’s one guy I would like the Chargers to consider extending now, maybe even ahead of Weddle, Legs, and Floyd if cost is factored in.
IMO
