We know some fans don’t like Rivers, but he’s got the respect of the coaches out there…. Probably ALL the coaches…. And probably most players — if not all.

You know opposing defensive players have got to appreciate his competitiveness, even if they’re annoyed by him…. And how much of Philip’s jawing is mean-spirited?… I’ll bet very little. Plus, he also respects his opponents…. He’ll give them credit sometimes right after the defense makes a good play, not just before or after the game…. I find Rivers to be a class act.

Fans that don’t like him aren’t looking closely enough — or, even more likely, they’re just angry because their team’s getting defeated by Rivers and the rest of the Bolts.
