I Felt It Coming...

I am a diehard San Diego Chargers fan. I have been since I was a boy. I live in Australia now and have to watch games live on the internet via NFL Gamepass. If the site goes down then I watch GameChannel. There is a 16 hour time difference between where I live and San Diego. If the game is on at 1pm on Sunday I have to get up at 5 am Monday morning here and miss a few hours of work to watch the game. I didn't miss a game all season. That is the type of fanatic I am. But I was so nervous for the two weeks going into this game. I felt it coming...we don't start quick after time off. It took us six weeks to get going in the regular season. We lost after the bye week. I was absolutely gutted after the game. What happened to the team that was on a roll. We had so many opportunities and squandered them. I feel so bad for LT. He has been my favorite football player since his TCU days. He doesn't have that first step anymore. He is still fast when he gets going but has lost that explosive first step. Darren Sproles has it. We have to let LT go or he has to retire. Nate the Great is not so great in the postseason. What is up with him and choking in the most important games of the year. I don't hold the 57 yarder against him but the other two, come on. That is the ball game and we are off to Indy. What was Norv thinkng? Onside kick when you know they couldn't move the ball much against the D all day. The defense looked outstanding (bar the big run). They were flying around and hitting hard. Hopefully next year but I am tired of saying that!

I agree.. somewhat

I agree with you fully, but the onside kick was the right call. We needed a chance to get the ball back, we have been very successful on onside kicks, and either way wether they had the ball on there own 20 or our 20, it was all about running the clock out not scoring.. They weren’t trying to score after that onside kick they were just trying get one first down to end the game.. If we kicked the ball to them and say they got to the 30.. They would have done the same thing. So i think that the onside kick was a great call, giving us a chance for a win..

Thought it was just me

i had the same bad feeling in my gut. while everyone around me was saying “ya’ll got this” and “you should have more confidence” I just had a really really bad feeling about this game. Just like you I have been a longtime die hard fan and i get the Sunday ticket just so i can see them play and when they played here in dallas i was right at the game. So yeah the loss hurts but hey the whole team didnt die in a plane crash so there is hope for next year and i think we have a really good shot at winning it all next year!

Me too

I had a baaaaad feeling about this one when I heard what the Jets were ranked in defense and rushing. I felt even worse when the Chargers started self-destructing.
