Vincent Jackson - Top Value Performer?

VINCENT JACKSON has been named as one of five finalists for the VIZIO Top Value Performer award.  The award crowns the player who most outperformed his contract and players such as Vincent definitely fit the bill,  as he tore up the league this year for 1,167 yards and nine touchdowns while making a paltry $625,000.

You can check out the contest at www.topvalueperformer.com.  The other nominees are Baltimore Ravens Running Back Ray Rice, Denver Broncos Linebacker Elvis Dumervil, Jacksonville Jaguars Wide Receiver Mike Sims-Walker and New York Giants Wide Receiver Steve Smith.  Past winners have included David Garrard (2007) and Matt Cassel (2008), who both were coincidently rewarded with new multi-million dollar contracts after winning this award.

I thought this might be something that your readers would be interested in checking out as the winner is selected based solely on fan voting. Vincent had a great year this season and we’re hoping the fans in SD will help him win this year’s award. Votes can be casted at www.topvalueperformer.com.

If we can win a vote for Amanda, we can do it for Vincent!

I love VJ and of course want him to stay here

He deserves more money, and he’s going to get it. If he wins this, do we increase the chances that he’ll want or “command” more than the Chargers will pay?…

I’ll keep voting for Amanda, whereas here more is (apparently?!) at stake…. ;)

Im voting for him

Only because (forgive my gloating), I used to play basketball with Vincent a few times a week when he was in college. I live in Greeley, CO, home of his alma matter UNC, and my high school team would practice at the university’s gym and Jackson was always there just shooting around and i would always get to play some pick-up ball with the All-American. I didnt kno he would be such a stud for my team’s rival tho!! But even so he gets my vote over the magnificent little ELVIS! lol. Good luck this week Bolts, stay heathy.

MELO!!!
