San Diego Chargers Defeat San Francisco 49ers 26-7, Finish 2-2 in the Preseason

Well, the Chargers finished the preseason with a bang and many of the players who were on the 53-man roster bubble had big games.  Here are some of the team stats to show you exactly how dominant a performance this was by the boys in blue.

First Downs: San Diego - 22, San Francisco - 10

Total Yards: San Diego - 346, San Francisco - 188

Time of Possession: San Diego - 40:14, San Francisco 19:46

Punts: San Diego - 1, San Francisco - 6

The game ball goes to Nate Kaeding, who went 4-4 on field goals (including ones from 47 and 51 yards) and 2-2 on PATs.  Bolts & Dolts, as well as coverage on the 12 cuts that are coming, will be here tomorrow.

some more justin.tv for me tomorrow

745 PM EST UCLA and SDSU

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this blog is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on our souls.

It's on Fox Sports here

So most of San Diego won’t have to look for it on justin.tv like they would if it was on the Mountain.

Does anyone know anything about what's up with Burnett?

I just read he left the game early after a big hit or something.

Wow

so after swimming @the pool while hearing the announcers Im finally done watching the game… Bennett and Johnson wow, Hope Johnson aint hurt… I know that Moore kid fumbled the ball but his feet his legs are exciting… The defense was great I thought. Larry, Dobbins and Appplewhite reminds me of Phillips, Merriman and Cooper… Scary…. I didnt rewind a lot cause im falling asleep now but these guys are ready… Im too excited for the season to start. Just hope the Chargers make the right decisions tomorrow… But Johnson wow… hard hitter kinda reminds me of M.Turner…

He is NO Turner that's for sure.

He’s ok but he did all his work at the end against 3rd stringers.I doubt he can have a season like Turner had last year, especially with us.Just my opinion though, hope he proves me wrong.

No one has really talked about Larry English

He didn’t have many impact plays, but he was around the ball a lot and was making some plays that were pretty heads up for a rookie. If we needed him to start, I’d be a little worried, but I think he’s going to be a solid backup to start the year and not embarrass himself out there.
