San Diego Chargers Practice Report 9/24
Here's the list of players that did not participate or only had limited participation in Thursday's practice. Kris Dielman, Marcus McNeill and Eric Weddle all participated on Thursday after missing Wednesday due to illness. Unfortunately, a couple of guys missed Thursday due to illness.
Out - Will Not Play on Sunday
Nick Hardwick (Ankle)
Limited Participation
Stephen Cooper (Ankle)
Mike Scifres (Groin)
Did Not Participate
Antwan Applewhite (Hamstring)
Kevin Ellison (Illness)
Travis Johnson (Groin)
Shawne Merriman (Groin)
Brandon Siler (Illness)
LaDainian Tomlinson (Ankle)
Louis Vasquez (Knee)
Besides the obviously guys that will miss the game (Jamal Williams and Nick Hardwick), I'd guess that Johnson, Tomlinson and Vasquez are going to miss another game as well.
The Dolphins, by comparison, are very healthy. They only had two players miss any part of practice on Thursday, with Joey Porter and Justin Smiley reporting as "Limited Participation".

"Limited Participation"
does not equal injured. More often than not, it equals sore. Jamal Williams almost never fully participated in practice and Merriman will probably have “limited participation” a bunch this season.

I'm hoping LT will get smart and sit out until after the bye.

Yes
That way he can be sure he’s ok to play. And when he comes back he should split carries with Bennett with the occasional screen play for Sproles…..right?

Well
I think as much as we do pass, LT would be fine for the majority of the carries, with Sproles jumping in for about 5 carries a game, plus 3rd down pass plays.
