Stadium Proposal in Oceanside/Escondido
So there have been a few articles, and TV news packages on Oceanside and Escondido teaming up for a new stadium. Kind of an interesting concept with one city taking the stadium, and the other building hotels, new restaurants, to help make the project more attractive. Special counsel to Chargers owner/president Dean Spanos, Mark Fabiani spoke openly about how this looks to be a somewhat promising new proposal to the Chargers stadium issues. Fabiani on 619 Sports. Also talked about the growing tension between the Chargers and the San Diego Mayors Office and political posturing between the city of San Diego and city of Los Angeles. Very interesting how he responded and his take on how the City of San Diego is dealing with Ed Roski building a stadium in The City of Industry.

ive read roski wants a part interest in the team(whichever one moves there)
and ive seen what his ownership has done to the LA kings hockey team… its not a pretty sight. let Al have that stadium in LA, hes wanted it for 20+ years now

It would be nice if Al took it
Al is ready to take a dirt nap, he should have a succession plan. Selling the team to Roski is as good as any other. It is a better estate plan than Carroll Rosenbloom had for the Rams.
Yeah City of Industry is a weird situation. They have like 600 permanent residents, so they can pretty much do whatever they want to do. City of Industry seems almost like a sovereign nation like an Indian reservation or something.
I’m 95% convinced that all this "local site" search is just an empty gesture by the Chargers, so they can point back and claim that they gave it their best effort. So yeah by the Soviet-style negotiating handbook they should be very antagonistic towards the City, that’s the way the game is played.

The Escondido location
makes the most sense to me, much more so than Oceanside
Formerly, thats a no-go.
I apologize for my ignorant and blatant lack of refinement in terms of my cursage. I did not know much of this Tuel feller so I accidentally used another innocent mans picture. Believe me, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!
Oh thank goodness
We can finally get this shit done.
A kid who has a unicorn ranch in his room cannot call other people weird. Yes, we know about "Rancho Unicorno."
