Suspiciously absent from this list?

Also

it appears Michael Bennett is getting most of the snaps with the first team in practice and will be the starter if LT cannot go.

Don't really think this will be an issue

If our OL can block this week, Bennett will do just fine. I think it’s going to be a situation where the pass will have to open up things for the run.

Let’s hope that both Norv & RR find their imagination early this week.

"Bennett will do just fine"???

By “fine” do you mean something like the 20 yards on 11 carries that the Chiefs’ LJ got last week against us? Something tells me that Bennett, nor Sproles nor LT will do “just fine” agsainst the Ravens run defense.

However, your passing offense could be a big concern if they start clicking. But don’t tell Norv or Phil, let them keep trying to run the ball like KC stubbornly kept doing! Shhhh…

Expect an air war.

The Ravens need to make it happen with big defensive plays, in which case SD will go to shootout mode and make their push in the 4th quarter, or the Chargers will force Baltimore to play catch-up through laser-targeted carpetbombing by the P.R. Machine and Robopunter. The Ravens have the kind of defense that can make those big plays, so it’s impossible to say which will happen.

Either way, these are two teams that are very hard to blow out, with likely game-plans that could lead to a blowout anyway. It’ll be a neat head-game to watch. San Diego has a terrifyingly efficient air game, and Baltimore is really good on defense.

I don’t think the Chargers’ OL is as bad as the Chiefs, even with two backups. Their QB is certainly better than Brodie Croyle, and SD has 6 receivers who could start in KC, so it’s hard to say that SD can’t open things up a little and average more than 2YPC on the run. But I don’t trust SD’s run game until the Ravens have a little fear of death from above, and that’s going to hinge on good play from a good offense against a good defense.

No I mean a little more

A lot of his yards may come through the air – same with Sproles.

The Raiders are better than the Chiefs. Don’t look to have the same success against us that you found at home vs. KC.

BTW – LJ is now in the same class as Sean Alexander. Started out in diapers & has gone back to them in his twilight years. Again – I wouldn’t crow too loud.

I hope no one says that I'm in my twilight years when I'm 29.

Three concussions

I think the Ravens need new helmets.

Shhh

Don’t tell them they can use helmets.

Rec'd

because I can imagine Ray Lewis getting so pumped up that he decides to play without a helmet.

Still plenty of tickets available on ticketmaster

in multiple sections, including pairs.

I’ll be surprised if the game isn’t blacked out.

Greg Maddux for manager.
