Chargers make three moves
First, the Chargers placed cornerback Brandon Hughes on "Reserve – Injured." Hughes, the team’s fifth-round pick in this year’s draft, suffered a knee injury in Saturday’s preseason game at Atlanta.
Wide receiver Demetrius Byrd, the team’s seventh-round draft pick who signed a four-year deal Monday, will spend the entire year on "Reserve – Non Football Injury." Byrd continues to recover from injuries suffered in an automobile accident suffered a week prior to the draft.
And finally, the Chargers released linebacker Anthony Felder, an undrafted free agent from California-Berkeley.
