I'll definitely look at it at the end of October or November. Let's put it that way.
Junior Seau on whether he's officially retired or not.
Seau Open To Another Return | ProFootballTalk.com
The Chargers front office would never want to deal with a player who wants to play these games every year, but I think Chargers fans would welcome Junior as a backup ILB for the veteran minimum. Too bad Seau only seems open to playing for New England.

I don't know about the rest of you
but I wouldn’t welcome him.

I'm intrigued
Why? Because he seems to prefer the Patriots to the Chargers now?

There are reasons that have to do with his play
but even if he was still playing well, I wouldn’t want him. The reason is because he made such a big deal about retiring. There was a huge ceremony, we gave him a big send-off, he did the one-day contract thing, and he retired, or “graduated”, to go run his restaurant.
And then a couple days later he went off and signed with New England.
I didn’t care when he went to Miami. I wouldn’t have cared if he had gone on to the Patriots without a word.
My problem is that he lied to us. I feel betrayed and taken advantage of. It’s a lot like the Brett Favre situation to me. I’m through with Seau. Go be a Patriot, because the Seau that played for the Chargers is forever gone to me.
