UT's Kevin Acee has reported AJ Smith just fired Matt Wilhelm. AJ Smith claims that with the acquisition of Kevin Burnett they no longer need Wilhelms's services. He said that if they hadn't got Burnett, Wilhelm would be starting in 2010. Ouch!

It's still unclear weather or not he'll still be a Charger in next years Madden video game and if that'll effect who he plays in the popular EA Sports game.  

In other news, Charger fans scramble to find a new scapegoat.
