ProFootballTalk.com - Schefter: Brandon Marshall Asked To Be Traded
In a Monday morning segment with 850 KOA in Denver, Schefter said that Marshall asked owner Pat Bowlen to be traded during their Friday meeting.
Per Schefter, Marshall told Bowlen, "I think I’d like to be traded." Schefter said that Bowlen asked Marshall to take some time to consider whether he wants a new contract or a trade, and that Marshall is expected to stick to his guns.

He does deserve a pay raise after two 100 catch seasons. I would give him a $5 mil roster bonus and tell him to shut up.

He drops too many passes
and doesn’t get into the endzone enough; not to mention that charming habit of beating on women. I would tell him to pound sand or trade him to the Lions.

I think the problem is the years, not the money
“Big money” contracts are usually long-term contracts, and Marshall has been in trouble numerous times in the past two seasons. I think they’re worried about signing him long-term and that’s what he wants.
