Washington Redskins - The Redskins are handing out money with both fists and have acquired Albert Haynesworth and retained Cornerback De'Angelo Hall. They must have seen something in him that wasn't apparent when he faced the Chargers. With the release of Jason Taylor; their most clear need is a defensive end. Their offensive line is also rapidly aging, so an exceptional candidate that falls to them would be welcome. Over Hogs Haven they have discussed everyone from Orakpo to Rey Maualuga, but I could see Andre Smith too if they wanted to take a risk.
New Orleans Saints
Looking at the Saints is like looking at a mirror of the Chargers, very good offense coupled with a defense that has some issues. Keeping their star MLB Vilma was huge for the Saints, even with his off field issues. The pass defense was particularly bad and they could use either a cornerback or over the top help at safety. Also with McAllister going and Bush having surgery they suddenly find themselves in the market for a runningback. I don't know why, but I've always liked the Saints; I find their blog on SBN is great too. Here is their thread on Cornerbacks and Safeties at the combine.
Houston Texans
The Texans are yet another team with good offense, but not enough on the defensive side of the ball. Both their pass and rush defense could use some tuning up. Their linebacking corps could use shoring up, outside linebacker in particular seems a need. Some think they could use a runningback too, but it looks to me like their most glaring needs are on defense. The SBN blogger at Battle Red Blog thinks a trade down for one of the QBs could happen.
San Diego Chargers
We have discussed extensively the Chargers needs at Inside Linebacker, Defensive End, Nose Tackle, Safety, Offensive Tackle or Gaurd and Runningback.
