So I took a trip to the East Coast last fall, and there was a detour to Buffalo involved to see our Bolts take on the Bills. Here's some photos of the trip.
Below are some shots of Buffalo's Downtown...
I definitely jinxed the game by doing this to the Bison statue
And of course I tried to do it again to Grover Cleveland. Gravity thought otherwise.
I also went to Niagara Falls. Here's a shot of that.
And now here's the good stuff: tailgating and then the game.
Flip cup against some insanely nice Bills fans. We won!
It was chaos getting in since the power was out and the ticket scanners were down.
The players and officials standing around on the field, waiting to find out what to do. As you can see, not even the scoreboard was on. I was getting calls and text messages asking what was going on, since apparently the TV feed was out.
The game eventually started even though the stadium didn't have power.
This Buffalo superfan made me laugh.
The power went on and off, just like the Chargers offense and then we lost. Sad.
In any case, it was a fun trip. Met some cool people, saw a game in a new city, and got to have some delicious wings.
So what's the '09 road trip gonna be?
