That's Crazy
How do we not get a third for Turner?

That’s just crappy.

It's based (almost) entirely on salary
Florence’s deal was actually more per year, too.

Right
I just thought 1700 yards, 17 TDs and a Pro Bowl had to add up to a third rounder.

Right
Well I just thought that 105.5 Passer Rating 4009 Yrds 8.39 Yrds per Attempt and 34 TD passes added up to a ProBowl but I guess neither of us is particularly good at math. Let’s leave that up to Richard.

Still nice.
Two 4th’s is nothing to sneeze at.

Think someone like Detroit would take two (or three) 4th rounders for a second round pick?

Can't trade
the compensatory picks.

Like DB said, you can't trade them
Even if you could. 3 4th rounders on the draft value chart could at most get you the 26th pick in the 2nd, but that’s assuming that they are 1st, 2nd and 3rd picks of the 4th round. If you were trading the 15th pick in the 4th round, plus the last two picks in the 4th round (a closer approximation, albeit obviously wrong) could get you 22nd pick in the third round.
So, no, I don’t think it’d be terribly likely for a team to take such a deal (if it were even possible).
