LT's Class Act.

Hey, I know I'm a guest here but I just want to acknowledge LaDainian Tomlinson's class act when he passed Jim Brown on the all-time rushing list.  He pointed to the owner's box, where Mr. Brown was watching, as a gesture of great respect to the "Greatest Running Back of All Time."  It makes me feel hopeful about the future the younger players repectfully acknowledge the pioneers of the game.

Way to go LT!

I think that the most important aspect

Is that there are kids all over that look up to LT and when they see that their favorite player looks up to Jim Brown it hopefully helps them respect Jim Brown (and maybe other guys from his era). It definitely gives the kids a little better persona to live up to than Ochocinco (not that I think that Ochocinco is a bad guy, but just that he’s not someone that should be emulated or even respected that much).

Wisdom can not be cultivated through ignorance of information.

I think some critiques have been too hard on LT.

But our society is overly harsh on our heros. We seem to take pleasure out of any small flaws they have when in fact we should rejoice over the fact that the flaws make them more human and easier to emulate. Any kid could do a hell of a lot worse than looking to LT as a role model.

If this be Hell, let us make the most of it!
