At this point

as long as it doesn’t become a distraction, which it looks like it won’t, I don’t really care.

Anyone else notice that the Chargers players always seem to get in trouble and it never seems to create a problem in the locker room? That’s either strong leadership, strong coaching or the lack of attacking mediafolk. Maybe a mix of all three?

Probably a mix of all 3. You are right that it doesn’t look like a distraction so it shouldn’t really bother fans as long as he isn’t suspended.

But I remember a Charger recently being asked who the leader on defense was and he named like 5 guys and their different qualities. There is no Ray Lewis on this team.

I was torn on Phillips or Merriman. I went with Merriman because I thought of him as a leader in 2007, but it would make sense if Phillips is the leader of the OLBs ahead of him.

Police recommended this charge. Still up to city attorney. Lot’s of conflicting evidence. Teammates said he didn’t do anything, douchebag PB bar patrons say he did. We’ll see.
