Giants Bench CC Brown
Aaron Rouse will take his place. Rouse was much maligned in Green Bay a couple of years back, but probably not as much as CC Brown (of course it was Green Bay and not New York). The one interesting thing about Rouse is that he's tall. Almost as tall as VJ and Floyd and definitely taller than Gates and Naanee.

That can't be good for us.

It is all match ups
Yeah this guy can probably cover Floyd and VJ better.
But if we can get Naanee on him, maybe Rouse is too big to effectivly cover and gets turned inside out.

Isn't Gates the same height as VJack?
could’ve swore the were both 6’5".
I believe....
VJ and Floyd are 6’5"
Gates is supposedly 6’4"
Naanee is 6’2"

Pretty sure Gates is 6’4".

Word.
if there’s a 1 inch difference between A and B, how can you be almost as tall as A and definitely taller than B?
by choosing your words poorly

From what Giants fans have said, CC has been terrible
If Rouse is just now supplanting him, that’s probably not a good thing for Rouse. Just because he’s tall doesn’t mean he’ll have VJ, Floyd and Gates covered.
I agree
I just said it was interesting, not that it was a game changer.

From my Giants perspective
Yes. If he was worth anything he would have been in after Brown’s failure in New Orleans. Rouse is not exactly an upgrade (well not necessarily), he’s just a change and that’s what our D needs. Something to wake them up. He might be a bit better in coverage, but nothing to be worried about.
I expect you guys will be testing him early and often. We’re all glad to see C.C. not start, but Rouse is nothing we’re excited about. Just waiting for our #2CB Aaron Ross to comeback so we can move one of our CBs to safety.
Well, Ross ain't coming back this week
Here’s hoping he’s back by the time the G-Men take on the Donkeys.

Rouse is OK
I watched him play some of his HS ball & at VT (notice my avatar?) as I’m a VA native. He’s known as a big hitter, but sometimes over-extends. Good ball skills but can get turned around & is fairly easily frustrated. While he may be an improvement over Brown, I wouldn’t lose any sleep over the switch.
I’m not sure that he’s a change for the better. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him garner a big penalty at an opportune time for us.
