San Diego Chargers Defeat Kansas City Chiefs 43-14

Two games against the Chiefs, two blowouts. The Chargers have beaten the 2009 Chiefs by an average of 29.5 points in their two matchups.
I said before the game that the only chance the Chiefs had of beating the Bolts was by winning the turnover battle, which they lost handily. This was a good team effort by everyone on the Chargers. The offensive line looked really solid (I almost don't want to play Jon Runyan and Nick Hardwick unless necessary), the running game was good enough and Antonio Gates proved why he's one of the deadliest weapons in the NFL.
That's six wins in a row and a game in Cleveland next weekend. Good job, fellas.

I do not blame LT for that fumble
anymore than I blame Charles for his fumble. They were both trying to make a play, both giving effort, and neither one was holding it out like a loaf of bread. On both plays, it was a great play by the defense! LT will be all right.

I really thought the Chiefs would make this close but the Chargers dominated and most importantly capitalized on the Chiefs mistakes. That’s what good teams do.
I would imagine this is the largest point margin in one season between these two teams.

They've got young talent coming out the ass.
Charles, Tyson Jackson, Glenn Dorsey, Andy Studebaker, Lance Long, and Dwayne Bowe… plus probably another high pick this year.
Once those players start coming into their own the division will get much tougher.

It was as poor this game as it has been all season.

Siler, as said during the game Norv has called him the unsung hero this year, and I thought he quietly played a great game, as well as recovering the charles fumble. Starting to really like this kid. Also Bolt to the baby face assassin (Kaeding) for giving us fans faith that he can kick the long one.

Why take a chance on getting PR hurt when I doubt that we’ll need him for this one, especially with Rogers out?
Activate Bennett, put LT on inactive for a week. Get Bennett some reps against a weaker opponent for that “just in case” scenario. Same for Volek, although PR of course would stay active.
