The Chargers announced Friday they have received another 24-hour extension to sell enough tickets to lift the TV blackout for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The club has until 1:05 p.m. Saturday to sell the remaining 1,350 tickets.
The Chargers have a streak of 44 consecutive regular-season and postseason games shown on local TV. The last blackout was Nov. 7, 2004 against New Orleans.

Gotta think this one's gonne sell out.
They don’t give you the first extension unless they’re pretty sure you will sell out. To get another one seems like it would virtually guarantee it will sell out. Especially because they only have 1,350 left.

Usually ...
… when it gets to be under 1k tickets remaining, a sponsor/CBS/Chargers will step in and pick up the rest. I am anticipating this game being on TV on Sunday now. Pretty impressive considering how many tickets were remaining earlier this week, way to step up, fans!
