Who else hopes he leaves Sunday's game on a stretcher? Memo to Chris: You get to talk crap about your previous employer if they were not justified in letting you go.

That should be "made" a mistake.

D’oh.

Happy Thanksgiving! Wow, I am at a loss for words

I still root for my favorite players on other teams, Jared Allen, Bernard Pollard, Kawika Mitchel, etc., I am stunned anyone would wish injury on someone just because they did not meet their expectations. A little sour grapes because it turns out Chambers really is good?

"The way this works is you string together some good games, some good practices and you get momentum and you gain confidence," linebacker Mike Vrabel said. "It can be a real positive for your team. It builds on itself."

No, it's a little sour grapes because we were justified in letting him go

and he’s continuing to complain about it. If he had wanted to stay on the team, he should’ve caught more than 29% of his passes. Ask anyone, I’m probably the least forgiving fan on these boards— I was waiting with hammer and nail to crucify Cromartie.

I'm not going to say that Cassel is better than Rivers, but maybe Chambers has found a home in KC?

Honestly, I think he just needs a regular change of scenery.

He was great coming from the Dolphins, but just couldn’t hack it in the first half of this year.

Obviously Cassel isn’t as good as Rivers. The KC offense is a better fit for Chris Chambers, though. Also, he apparently needs to move to a new city every two years or he starts to play like garbage.

Chambers is the TRUTH

I remember when our receiving core was trash; Chambers changed that for us just like he will for KC.

Chambers came to the Chargers and got better as much as the team got better from him being here. He was trash for the Dolphins for years before he got to SD.

trash for Miami?

05 1,118 yards and 11 Tds
04 898 yards and 7 Tds
03 963 yards and 11 Tds
Yeah he had a mediocre year in 06 with 677 yards and 4 Tds and 07 he had 970 yards between the Chargers and Dolphins. I guess trash to you is way different. Im not saying those are amazing numbers but they arent “trash”

Look at his catch rate. He had some bad, bad years in Miami.
