Amazing time lapse video of Qualcomm Stadium being set up for, and the subsequent playing of, the Chargers vs Eagles game this past Sunday. It really is interesting to see that there really are crewmembers working, quite literally, around the clock to get the stadium set up for the game.

From Mike Nowak: Basically I wanted to see if I could make a time lapse movie out of still photos. The start is at the end of the Aztec game and the movie shows the crew painting the field for the Chargers game the next morning. It took over 6,000 images and 17.5 hours of shooting to make the 5 min movie. Hope you enjoy it.

Gotta give credit to that crew

I think i opened the next morning so i saw the lights on at the stadium and was surprised they were still working, amazing how they can do this so fast.

I think you're oversimplifying it

I’m pretty sure there were at least a one time where they had Aztec, Chargers and Padres games on the same weekend. If not, well then it’s certain possible that they would have done an Aztecs game, a Chargers game and then had the Padres return that Monday. Two straight all-nighters. Now, don’t get me started on how the eff they fit in the Motorcross and Monster Truck Rallies in there.

I remember one weekend the Monster Jam was in town on a Friday

followed by Aztecs on Saturday, Chargers on Sunday, and Padres on Monday. I’m certain that’s as bad as it got.

Ali Villanueva (OT/WR, Army) has 460 yards and 5 TDs in only 7 games with a mediocre quarterback. Just sayin'...
