Orton will play sunday vs the Chargers
There was a post I saw that Orton was likely done for the season. So, I just found this article today, mentioned in MHR.

Actually what he said was
Coach Josh McDaniels on QB Kyle Orton: “We’ll have to see if and when Kyle is ready, whether that’s Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or not at all. But he’s definitely not out for the game.”

The whole "out for the season" talk
didn’t make sense to me. We know it’s an ankle injury. For that to be season ending he would have had to break it. For him to break his ankle and the training staff to let him stand on the sidelines without crutches would have been very negligent. I may have a severe dislike for all things Broncos, but I’m not stupid enough to think that their training staff is incompetent.

Agreed.
For what it’s worth, Orton left the locker room to get on the team bus on crutches. However, today, he was seen wearing dress shoes. The results of the MRI weren’t shown, but he was listed on the injury report as questionable. Whether or not he plays, I’m not sure. I don’t necessarily trust this article, completely.
I think McD might be playing mind tricks or something, a la Bill Belicheck. I don’t think McD would show his hand and say that Orton will be the starter because it will force SD to gameplan for both Orton and Simms …….. possibly Brandstater.
All bets are off. Not even broncos fans know for sure what is going to happen. There has been lots of speculation at MHR about what was going to happen, but none of us know for sure. I guess we’ll all find out together on sunday unless something definitive comes from the mouth of McDaniels.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.

Walking on crutches after the game?
Not a good sign. That sounds like high ankle sprain. Those take weeks to heal.

Yeah, but the next day he was walking around in dress shoes with no crutches. So, I'm confused.
This might all be a show. We have no idea. I guess we’ll find out on sunday.
