Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Josh McDaniel Has a Plan, Maybe....

Hey all at BFTB, just got back from the mile high report (trying to find more info on the Kyle Orton injury) and came across an amusing story. It seems at McDaniels press conference after their lose he said something to the effect of, " We need to give credit to the chargers coach Jim Zorn." Now, IMO, this can mean two things..

More after the jump....

Star-divide

1) It is very possible the Broncos overlooked the Redskins and are focused on next weeks game..

2) The Broncos now in the back of their minds the Bolts are coming, and coming hard....

I believe its the latter of the two. They, the mile high report bloggers think its the first...I would love to hear you insightful thoughts on this matter.

The way I understood it....

it was said more as “We need to give credit to the Chargers, Coach Jim Zorn.” So he was praising both of them instead of confusing them. I could’ve heard wrong though.

Im not sure...

If it was post game, the chargers hadn’t betten philly yet, therefore, there is no need to give credit to the chargers yet…not sure when the post conference was held though….

It was held before the completion of the Chargers-Eagles game

I think he meant to say "Redskins"

and slipped. Interesting that the Chargers were on his mind.

That was great.

But it felt a little different. All week, the Broncos were on film moping around like they’d already lost. I’m not so sure these guys will be so eager to pack it in this time.

That wasn't a simple boo boo!

He’s psyched out! I thinks you are right. The Chargers are in their heads ( the coaches’ at least). If the Chargers come out fast and strong like they did this past week, I think Denver may fold.
