Power Rankings from Around the Web (Week 5)
As would be expected the Chargers stayed stagnate at number 16 during their bye week. The Broncos however have shot up to number 5 after their win over the Patriots. If the Chargers take care of business Monday night they may be able to crack the top ten again. Click below to see the full power rankings.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the polls.
Just remember, Chargers fans, even after the beginning of the season these polls had the Broncos ranked down among the bottom dwellers. Shows how much any of them know.
Polls don’t count for squat after the kick off. I expect a close, hard fought game. I hope the Broncos win but I’m not counting on anything until the final whistle.
If this be Hell, let us make the most of it!

The point of this post was to take a snapshot of current public/expert opinion. We all know that the opinions of outsiders don’t affect the outcome of games. Responding to this weekly feature as though we don’t know that is a bit on the condescending side.

Really
I find TJ’s tone and content to be collegial. He is a confessed Chargers admirer, after all.
Perhaps the condescension is projected, as a “yeah, we know these guys are boners” would suffice. Just throwing it out there.

TJ is normally collegial. No doubt. In this instance, he was condescending.

I apologize most sincerely,
If my first posting came across as condescending.
I really do like the Chargers and have posted those sentiments here and at MHR. I thought Charger fans might be depressed by the results of the these polls. I was trying to offer words of encouragement. Apparently I wasn’t sensitive enough and so I apologize. And when I read the response, I was surprised and … disturbed. But now I read that it was meant only as a joke. That’s good enough for me. It’s best both comments were stricken.
I’m looking forward to a great game. Good health to all the players and their fans and good luck to the CHargers except, well, you know.
If this be Hell, let us make the most of it!
You’re already nicer than I; I’m hoping the Broncos season is filled with fumbles, bad bounces and Ints. ;-) Of course we have 2.5 games to make up.

No opinions, just goes on the stats. They have the Giants behind the Patriots so it’s interesting to say the least…I believe they have you fellas at 18.

Constructive criticism
That image is 1.96 MB, and for a black and white image containing only text, that’s unacceptable for the web. Choose another image format than .BMP.
Also, the typeface should be consistent throughout the post. You have a mix of Calibri and default Arial.
tl;dr information good, presentation bad
