Four months after blowing a call that handed the Denver Broncos a win over the San Diego Chargers, Ed Hochuli has been rewarded by the NFL with a playoff appearance, working today's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins.

Looks like Hoculi was punished badly, NOT!

Making it to the playoffs after all, we should probably close the book on this guy, but I hate the fact that even after such a horrendous call, he still makes it to the playoffs.

Hochuli has been one of the best referees in the game for years. He made one of the worst calls ever this year, but I think since it ended up not costing us that we can let it go.

You're being fair to the man

But it still made me shudder to see him.

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔

I still remember at the beginning of that Week 2 game when I saw we had Hochuli and said, “well at least we don’t have to worry about the officiating.” The blown call was an aberration.

I just hate

that everyone said “He will be downgraded and probably won’t go to the playoffs”
But now it seems there is no punishment at all. I remember he had some other questionable calls this year (maybe the Saints Monday night game?)

Oh well, I’m sure the embarrassment and reputation that will follow him for a long time is probably punishment enough.

Too bad these guys aren’t held accountable.

Maybe it just means

That the rest of the refs have been shit-ier than Hochuli. Scary thought, huh?
