a stinger is like whip-lash. The NFL is a brutal sport and they like to give cutsie names so it doesn’t sound like a real injury. “sports hernia”, “stinger”, etc it goes on and on.

i’d rather be watching the game instead of listening to it!
At least our broadcast team is good. I’d like to see leunin(sp?) in the spot vacated by vascursian for Padres broadcasts.
