Favre out....Rivers in?

According to this article,

Favre has a torn biceps tendon which may or may not require surgery. It would appear to me that Brett will most likely sit out the Pro Bowl because of this and a host of other minor ailments to his "older" body. Rivers just may get a trip to Hawaii afterall. Depends on whether Favre wants to go out with a bang or not. We will see in the next couple of weeks I suppose.

Prediction...

Favre will be out…then he will be in…then he will be out…then, well – you get the point.

I thought it was ridiculous that he be included anyway.

I can’t stand Rivers, but he was a better player this year than Favre.

He never really ever showed up anyway.

Favre...

…may decide to play anyway, since it would be a chance to play for the AFC against the NFC. But I saw the possibility of him not playing some time ago, and then speculated about Rivers and Cutler being teammmates. Interesting, huh? Either they become buddies or, you know, one of them doesn’t make it out of the tunnel.

To bear up under loss, to fight the bitterness of defeat and the weakness of grief, to be victor over anger, to smile when tears are close, to resist evil men and base instincts, to hate evil and to love love, to go on when it would seem good to die, to seek after the glory and the dream, to look up with unquenchable faith in something evermore about to be, that is what any man can do, and so be great.

Rivers is the better choice, anyway.

Favre?

this guy is horrible, I am sorry but he plain sucks. I’d rather have Flacco over favre in the reg season. Playoffs?? maybe even still Flacco.

The guy’s TD/INT ratio is 1:1. How can that get you into the Pro Bowl???

Voters should realize he is not the only addition that made the Jets win, They spent a buttload of money on the line and defense. That’s where it starts but it ended with Favre throwing the game away. He looks downright foolish at times, like he is some random old grandfather out of the stands trying to play.

He not only was “not the only addition that made the Jets win,” he was a huge part of why they lost and finished out of the playoffs.

It should start at the end of the regular season.

I loved that Thomas Jones called him out after the last game. He has to realize that there is another 52 people on the team and if he can’t get it done (3 INTs) he needs to figure out that it’s not his day and let someone else give it a shot!
