2009 schedule
Definitely a brutal set of opponents both at home and on the road. Playing the NFC East brings back bad memories of Gates missing the Cowboys game after a contract dispute and the Eagles returning a blocked field goal for a touchdown (of course those are accompanied with the Eli throttling and the 4th quarter LT-led comeback against the ‘Skins). One thing I would bet on is that a 4th consecutive division title will be a must. The AFC South and AFC North have have what look like cushy schedules. The North plays the AFC West and the NFC North. The South plays the NFC West. I wouldn’t be surprised if both wildcards came out of those two divisions again next year.
1-10-DEN 18 (9:52) (Shotgun) 6-J.Cutler pass short right intended for 19-E.Royal INTERCEPTED by 93-L.Castillo (95-S.Phillips) at DEN 18. 93-L.Castillo to DEN 14 for 4 yards (62-C.Wiegmann). 6-J.Cutler pouts ob to DEN 25 for 11 yards.
Agreed
The NFC East is brual, but at least the rest of our division has to play them. That pretty much sets everyone else in the west at 0-4. I think the Chargers can get a couple wins from the east. It’ll be ugly but I see another title as well.
