How do we beat the Pats?
Let's say you're put in charge of the team for the week. What would you do in order to lead us to victory Sunday night? I'm curious what everyone thinks, but here's my ideas:
Offense:
Let Sproles go to town. New England's game against Miami showed that their LBs and Secondary are on the slow side and Sproles could exploit the heck out of that with his ridiculous moves. I would definitely call some screens and swing passes to him and watch the yards pile up.
Get the ball to Gates and VJ. We're going to need a downfield presence and with Chambers either out or limited, these two guys need to make some catches.
Defense:
Blitz like crazy, but not too crazy. They have some guy named Moss who is good at catching the ball in any coverage.
Tackle better. We got hosed in the title game last year and have been pretty weak at it this year too.
So I'm not really reinventing the wheel here, but after the crappy output from last game I'm still very weary and almost ready to PANIC!
How say you?

Fire Ted Cotrell
And Promote Ron Rivera

Agree with you Aztec
But it aint gonna happen. No way AJ admits he was wrong. As much as I’d love to see what Rivera can do, it won’t happen until at least next year.

how about letting their linebackers know they’re missing the early bird special at Denny’s and they’re missing out on their moons over my hammy.

Agree with you matto
LT isn’t getting it done with his injured toe. So decoy with LT and get tricky with Sproles. Also, I wouldn’t mind seeing what Hester could do. Mix it up with a couple of big passing plays and I think we score at least three TD’s.
On defense, we’ve got to outthink Belicheck. They don’t neccesarily have the talent to burn us, but I would imagine that without even cheating, Belicheck has a decent offensive game plan.

Id say easy on the blitz
Thats sooooo last year strategy vs. the pats. Cassel isn’t Brady and i think we can allow a little more time for our d-line to collapse the pocket. This will allow our LBs to cover the flats, which is where i see the majority of the passes going to.
On offense I say steady as she goes. Just need some better execution.
We're gonna dazzle you with our "sub par" play.

We already blitz more than any team in the league
We can’t really blitz more than we already do.
Homer: Ohhhh, The Denver Broncos.
Marge: Whats wrong with the Denver Broncos?
Homer: Marge you just don't understand football.

I say
In that case, let’s just defend more. Also, better.
