Static from around the Web
New England is just going to hang in California.
Adrian Peterson gets just 32 yards, but the Vikings still win.
The Chargers are inconsistent, who knew?
This time it's the offense that is not in synch.
Mostly minor injuries, but Tucker will likely be out again.
More on LT's big toe, for those of you who just can't get enough.

Chambers is doubtful too. Who starts in his place?
I say, KASSIM OSGOOD!

I think
Legedu and Buster split time; Kassim is fantastic on special teams; but just isn’t a quality receiver.

Has he ever been given a chance at receiver?

In preseason
I would say yes. I think he has had his chances in the preseason and in practice, but has the drops. You can see in the way the Chargers drafted for Buster and traded for Chambers that the coaches just don’t see him as viable target.

Kevin Acee
Basically confirmed that Legedu/Buster would get snaps in place of Chambers if he were out for Sunday. I know he’s not a Front Office guy, but he knows the team better than any reporter. Oh, he said this on whatever the drive home radio show on 1360 is these days (The Drive with Jeff Dotseth and Mike Costa, f/ Josh Rosenberg I think). He also doesn’t think the Chargers will beat the Patriots. Ouch.
Homer: Ohhhh, The Denver Broncos.
Marge: Whats wrong with the Denver Broncos?
Homer: Marge you just don't understand football.
